【典翰普拉斯】狂犬病 rabies [ˋrebiz]


As the rabies epidemic continues to spread, Taiwan is facing a lack of both vaccines and manpower. Not only is there a shortage of vaccinations for dogs and cats, not to mention people.

隨著疫情升溫，狂犬病疫苗需求量跟著告急，現在不只犬貓用疫苗不足，連人用狂犬病"預防"疫苗也不夠。

As of the end of July, there are only around 1,800 vaccines for humans. With over 3,000 patients in the first wave, and three doses needed for each person, it’s clear that the current supply simply is not enough.

而且到七月底為止，人用疫苗也不過一千八百多劑，第一波施打的三千多名人員，每人三劑來算，明顯不夠。
